Stayed a night in the old London hotel during the lockdown. Really relaxed. Great room, bathroom slightly outdated. The food was really fantastic! Dinner and breakfast in the room. Recommended!
Great hotel , friendly staff great service
This restaurant has a great combination of style, good food, and a great location. If you live anywhere nearby (or even far away) this would definitely be a must.
Enjoyed Christmas brunch. Picked up, Christmas drink was offered during the short waiting time. Then the boxes were taken to the car for me. Tasted fine, easy to prepare too.
Three stars. Small disappointment because there were still dirty underwear, socks in my bedside table. Shower head broken, and the toilet door did not close completely and the extra night you can do better online, that saves 25 euros. Maarrrrrrr that Delicious food, really fantastic. Pick up breakfast and lunch at the counter and dinner was put on a cart in the hallway in front of the door. And then delicious food in your room. Covid19, makes it possible to have dinner in the room in a very cozy intimate atmosphere.
All neatly arranged given the corona and friendly staff.
Bedroom was full of dust, not suitable for allergy sufferers.
Good food. Tidy rooms and friendly staff. Everything for a pleasant stay.
Outstanding service! Enjoyed the four course Game menu (was really delicious!), A warm welcome in the room and the staff were very welcoming and happy to think along with you. The rooms have been renovated and have a luxurious appearance. We have chosen the Comfort room, which has a balcony. It really lacked nothing. Do you want more luxury and a wonderful bath? Then you just book the Deluxe room! It is a pity that the wellness was closed last weekend, but that is simply not possible at the moment, in accordance with the Corona measures. An overnight stay at hotel Oud London is an absolute must!
Last Saturday we ordered a 3-course dinner for takeout. It tasted very good and, with the help of a good description, was easy to prepare in the oven. Once we got to dessert, we discovered it wasn't there! After a phone call it was still delivered to us, along with a delicious bottle of dessert wine !! What a service!
Had a wonderful stay in Old London. My wife used to come here regularly with our son, but for me it was the first time. At the hospitable reception we were offered a cress tasting (seedlings, very special in terms of taste) and wine tasting on the house. Fun and educational, but above all very tasty! Old London collects its wine from the Betuws Wijndomein in (yes) the Betuwe. One wine is even made there exclusively for the hotel. To be honest, I was surprised by the excellent quality of these wines. Even the red one was very full and round, which is really special for our northern regions. Two bottles of white soldier made during and after dinner. Dinner was also excellent. There is a magician with golden hands in the kitchen. The served pike-perch is even one of the tastiest fish dishes I have eaten in a long, long time. Friendly and attentive staff who make time for a friendly and interested chat. We understand that many of them have enjoyed working for this family hotel for years. You will also notice this in the good atmosphere. Lovely room with good beds and a double bath. In short, we had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back!
Very neat and welcoming location. PGGM made use of the DUG-OUT room for work consultation. Very nice room!
Cozy and beautiful hotel and brasserie Just a pity about the 3 euros per person Carona compensation if there are four of you, they had to pass this on in advance very bad. We also received a bread basket that we had not asked for and returned it. But it was on the receipt. Took a long time for the bill, so I walked to checkout. Have settled with tip. But at home I regretted not looking closely. So tip plus 12 euro carona fee and 4 euro bread basket. THIS IS HOW YOU EARN TASTY PFFF.
Very neat and welcoming location. During the training weekend at the nearby swimming pool of the KNZB we used a room for presentations with the swimming club
Friendly place, old fashioned luxury.
Absolutely bomb??
Fantastic hotel! We are pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. Very neat, correct and very polite staff! If we could give 6 stars, we would give 7! Totally top and nothing that was missing! We will come back for sure!
Nice room, nice breakfast, friendly helpful staff and the kitchen gets a 10. All the dishes were delicious.
No, here it does not go and taste as it should, certainly not at these prices. We will go elsewhere from now on.
Nice hotel! Friendly staff, corona measures are taken into account. Breakfast very good. Room dated. Decently. Minus was that cleaning is not done during the stay, not even with a multi-day stay. This is due to corona measures, but I think that there should be more emphasis on cleaning. You could, however, request towels, coffee and tea at the reception. These were then delivered to the room. Without this minus, this hotel would definitely have received 5 stars!
The 75 ct for corona measures is a bit lackluster for the prices that are asked 4.40 for a normal cup of coffee and 10.95 for cafe paris .... that certainly includes the 75 ct. There was no air conditioning in the restaurant, only air conditioning, but it really cannot handle this heat. I called for reservation and Daphne was very friendly also young man on reception was friendly. Great that there are several charging points for electric cars. But food was good, but overpriced.
Beautiful hotel. We have a super room with a balcony on the ground floor. Not much of a view. Bushes. But we love it. Breakfast top. The only thing that surprises me is that the controls have to work with 30 degrees, or maybe more, in full costume. Fortunately they were allowed to take off a tie. Maybe buy summer clothes for the ministry.
Today we thought to have a nice and nice lunch during a lovely bike ride through the beautiful surroundings. Once inside it looked nice, quiet and tables nicely decorated. Unfortunately, we had left our Balenciagas and Hermes Birkin at home, so we were looked a bit weird at the controls. Lunch was fine, but the price-quality ratio was hard to find. Or do sparing good quality portions or do generous portions of moderate quality. Now the service could have made up for a lot, but unfortunately it seemed as if the waiter had a lot better to do than to serve us in a friendly way. Too bad. Next time have lunch with the screaming children at the Pyramid of Austerlitz.
Excellent value for money if you love hiking and (mountain)biking in and around forests. Well located in the heart of natural reserve Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Very friendly staff, you feel welcomed. spacey rooms, quiet during the night. Breakfast : go early because after 9 it gets crowded and staff has trouble keeping up with the visitor flow then (not their fault, I think). Restaurant serves good food. Never superior, but never disappointing too. Just decent meals and good portions.
Just perfect
Perfect spot for networking, great coffee, friendly service and good quality foods and drinks.
booked a large number of rooms well in advance. Day before arrival: a third not available. Their mistake, but not even an apology. No real solutions offered. We went elsewhere, and will do that in the future too.
Overpriced for what you get. Tired rooms (including the suite), not many in room amenities and quite a simple breakfast. The restaurant food looks great but is very pricy. But they got two stars for their frendly staff.
Very good, quaint hotel
Nice place to stay
A taste of class in Zeist. Customer service from desk staff, to dining staff went out of their way to give first rate service. A must stay if you are in this part of the Netherlands.
The staff is very kind. The hotel is outdated, like 80‘s and 90's and the pluming wasn't working. The restaurant has OK food plated like the 00‘s, but taste nice.
Stayed one night, hotel could be better but restaurant is best
This year again fresh asparagus with salmon may enjoy here, and again it was an unprecedented celebration. Everything is right and is exactly as it should be. Great to experience hospitality where everything is taken care of and addressed with class, and where the shop is full of beautifully dressed guests who enjoy a wonderful evening, just like us. Recommended!
The hotel had a friendly staff and a very nice attached restaurant.
Very good.
Really nice experience
Great staff who are comfortable in a handful of languages (as most Dutch people I've met are) made the meal even more enjoyable. The menu is "traditional English", but don't let that put you off? Great produce, treated simply on all the tables I could see. I had pork loin & some local draft beer, delicious. 30 euros or so. Dessert looked good, but I'd already eaten too much.
The hotel is really very nice. I was staying in Studio house with my spouse and 2 years old son. The stay was comfortable and the hotel staff was well mannered and well behaved.
Good service and it looks great from the inside but the outside isn't that great
Very friendly staffy, a good breakfast and nice rooms. Definitly a recommendation
Good
Very poor housekeeping, rooms don't get cleaned, nice breakfast though
Practical and spacious room (comfort) in the hotel and great food in the restaurant
Great facilities, pool was perfect for my kids. Very friendly staff at the reception. Perfect for a weekend trip. Highly recommendable!
Friendly service and food food.
Great room and fantastic breakfast
Very good experience
Excellent room, clean, cozy, ample space. Breakfast is good too. Indoors swimming pool is clean and warm.
We stayer at the suite for one night, really loved it. There were a separate bath and shower in the bed room. The pool and wellness facilities were beautiful and had broad opening hours. We had a nice breakfast in the garden.
